Carlton Kitchen Library is super happy to announce we will be offering equipment delivery during COVID-19! Library members living within a 10km radius of Carlton can request for any of our equipment to be delivered! Below is more info, but if you have any questions or need a hand please email julia@cultivatingcommunity.org.au or send us a message. 

Who can request a delivery? 

Library members living within at 10km radius of Carlton can request to have any of our equipment  delivered! If you would like to sign up for a membership you can now do so online! 

If you’ve are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who’s tested positive for coronavirus, we ask that you don’t request equipment at this stage. 

How to I request a delivery? 

Once you have an account with us on MyTurn, you can request items by: 

Click "Reserve" on the items you are reserving, select the time frame you need the items for, then click "Cart" to finalise the request.

Your reservation is only complete when you have received a confirmation email from MyTurn. 

You are also welcome to email us with your reservation requests. 

 When will it be delivered? 

Deliveries will go out on Fridays, so please get your request in by Thursday night! We will confirm delivery time with you. 

 Keeping you safe! 

All equipment will be properly sanitised by our staff between loans. Our staff will be taking all necessary health and safety precautions to keep you safe including wearing face masks, using hand sanitizer between deliveries, and maintaining distance when delivering. If you have any concerns, please feel free to get in contact with us! 

Membership 

Yearly memberships:

  • $40/year for an adult
  • $20/year for a concession
  • $50/year for businesses

One-off event borrowing:

  • $20. Please get in contact if you have an upcoming event so we can confirm stock availability!

Become a member online:

1. Click ‘Create Account’ on our MyTurn page.

2. Pay your membership fee. 

3. Read and sign off on our Membership Agreement and Waiver of Liability.

4. Start borrowing!

All money goes straight back into maintaining the library, purchasing kitchen equipment and towards community workshops.

Borrowing and Returning

To borrow: Always bring in a photo ID to the library when borrowing. 

You can borrow 5 items at a time for two weeks, and renew your items one time (so you can have an item for a maximum of four weeks). 

We ask that all items are returned clean. 

Reserve an item

If you are hoping to borrow plates, bowls, cutlery or cups for an event - it is best to contact us a few weeks prior!

To reserve an item online:

The library has filled up thanks to your generous donations! Please get in contact with us before you come past with your donations, letting us know what you are happy to pass on.
